Privacy Policy

Growth Mindset Institute (“we”, “us”, or “our”) respects the privacy of our users. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website and complete a survey, including any related media. Please read it carefully. If you do not agree with its terms, please do not access the site.

Collection of your information

Personal data. Personally identifiable information, such as your name, email address, and telephone number, and demographic information that you voluntarily give us when you participate in activities related to the site, such as survey responses.

Derivative data. Information our servers automatically collect when you access the site, such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, and access times.

Third-party data. Information from third parties, such as connected accounts, where you grant permission.

Use of your information

We use information collected about you to administer surveys, compile anonymous statistical analysis, manage your account, respond to requests, and fulfil and manage transactions related to the site.

Automated processing and the Mindset Profiler™

The Mindset Profiler™ uses automated processing to score your responses across the eight fixed-mindset trigger dimensions and to benchmark them against our normed dataset, producing your individual and, where applicable, team or organisational results. This output is informational and developmental — it supports human judgement and conversation and is not used to make legal or similarly significant decisions about you on a solely automated basis. You can ask how your results were generated, request a human review, or request access to or correction of your personal information by contacting us.

Disclosure of your information

By law or to protect rights. We may share information where required by applicable law or to protect the rights, property, and safety of others.

Third-party service providers. We may share information with third parties that perform services for us, including payment processing, data analysis, email delivery, and hosting.

Research and academic institutions. We may share de-identified data with research partners. Your identity cannot be traced from the de-identified data provided.

Security of your information

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information using technical and organisational measures appropriate to its sensitivity — including encryption in transit (SSL/TLS), access controls, and staff data-handling practices. No method of transmission over the internet is fully secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You may review or change your account information, or request account termination, by contacting us. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time.
