Cookie Policy
Effective date: 2 August 2026. Please read this together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Some are essential and are always on. Others are optional, and we only use them if you agree.
2. Your choices
When you first visit our site, a banner asks which optional cookies you are comfortable with. Essential cookies are always on. You can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie preferences” button in the footer, and you can clear or block cookies in your browser settings.
3. Essential cookies (always on)
These are needed for the site to work:
- Your cookie choices. A record of what you agreed to, stored on your device for 12 months.
- Payment (Stripe). __stripe_mid and __stripe_sid, used by our payment provider to process payments securely and prevent fraud.
Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site, including checkout, from working.
4. Analytics cookies (optional, off unless you opt in)
These help us understand how the site is used so we can improve it. We use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google LLC, which sets the cookies _ga and _ga_<id> for up to 13 months. Analytics storage is denied by default under Google Consent Mode v2, so no analytics cookies are set unless and until you opt in through the cookie banner.
5. Marketing cookies (optional, off unless you opt in)
These let us measure whether our advertising works and, where relevant, show our ads to people who have visited the site. We use the Google Ads conversion tag, provided by Google LLC, which sets cookies such as _gcl_au (about 90 days) and may use Google advertising identifiers. Advertising storage, ad user data and ad personalisation are all denied by default under Google Consent Mode v2, so no marketing cookies are set unless you opt in through the cookie banner.
6. Third-party tracking
If, and only if, you opt in to marketing cookies, Google may use the identifiers described above to measure our advertising and to show you our ads on other websites in its network. If you decline, or if you make no choice, no such tracking takes place. You can also manage this in your Google ad settings.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we add a new provider, we will name it here and in the cookie banner before it is switched on.
